I am beyond excited to announce that Bookending Winter will be happening friends, if you’re a book blogger looking to get more involved in the community. Find new blogs to hop to and generally have some fun this Winter, look no further friends! These events are co-organised by myself and the wonderful Sam @ Fictionally Sam, who is my partner in crime. Huge love for Sam and of course all our hosts for this seasons event. Whether you’re a new book blogger, seasoned or your recently back from a hiatus, we hope you can find something in this event which you can join in with!
My blog’s officially 3 years old! With that being said there are so many ways for us to celebrate our blogoversaries. Some of us choose to do a special type of post, often taking the form of a q&a, others do a lessons learned type of post…the possibilities are endless ok. Today’s imagine will be looking at the various forms a blogoversary can take, virtual cake may be involved friends.
I don’t know about you all but I would love to have a bookish picnic with all my online friends in the book community. Just take a minute and imagine the possibility that we were all able to gather in the same place, the whole of the bookish community and have a picnic.
it’d be chaos but we’re going to focus only on the positives Wouldn’t it be something for the scrapbook? Surrounded by people who love the same things as you AND we’d get to eat food. Need I say more?
As a book blogger I sometimes feel like I’m stuck on this hamster wheel. A wheel that. Never. Stops. Spinning. I did a wee bit of reflecting at the end of December 2019, when I was planning January content and I remembered, how I’d ended up taking a 3 month long hiatus to recharge my batteries. Don’t get me wrong, the hiatus was hard but lovely and eye opening. I just don’t want to have to go on such a long hiatus again if I can help it. This is where the new schedule comes in….
Chaos. Sometimes it’s organised chaos. Look we’re very trying people us book bloggers, we try our best to get organised, plan ahead and in the New Year is when a lot of us have dreams and hopes of being organised. Blog posts all written, scheduled, formatted and we can just blog hop at our own pace. No worries about that blog tour post popping up because we forgot. Or that other post we said we’d have up on this day…it’s all taken care of. At least that’s the dream, right?
Snow is already falling for some of us, which means Bookending Winter is right around the corner! December is bringing you some wintry fun as our Winter event takes place all month long, we’ve got some awesome prompts lined up, twitter chats planned out and much more! Thank you Sam @ Fictionally Sam as always, for being my partner in all things, these events wouldn’t be possible without Sam and I working together.
These events are open to all book bloggers – so if you’re a book blogger looking for something fun to get involved in – keep reading!
