My Tentative TBR For The Astrology Readathon

Happy first day of the Astrology Readathon friends! It feels very surreal that this readathon has officially started today. Now I’ve never been the best at sticking to TBRs. In fact I tend to ignore creating a monthly TBR since I just never stick to them and am very much a mood reader. Maybe this will be the unicorn TBR, which I actually stick to somewhat? I guess the only way to find out is check back next March for my wrap up.

The Iron Fey // Still In Love With This Series 8 Years Later

14 year old me discovered this series for the very first time in my library. 7 Years later and my mind remembered the basic plot and emotions this series made me feel. I couldn’t get The Iron Fey out of my brain, which of course meant I really needed to a) buy myself a copy of these beauties since I originally borrowed them from a library and b) to reread them ASAP so I could be taken back to the times where I would cackle of the banter between two fey, a cat and a girl. It’s more than just that but not to be dramatic but I would give my favourite blanket to Puck. *sniffs*

2023 Winter Brew: I’ve Already Completed My Yearly Reading Goal?!

I think I said the 2022 Autumn Brew was probably my longest wrap up ever…may I present you with the 2023 Winter Brew. I got bitten by the reading bug. I kid you not so far this year I have read 13 books, which means I’ve already completed my yearly reading goal, we have another 10 months left though. With the new year I also wanted to be make more of an effort to be social offline, which has definitely happened and it’s been nice if a little odd. Socialising isn’t as draining if you spread it out so there’s that.

My Favourite Authors

I got to thinking the other day that I have a few favourite authors whom I don’t talk about nearly enough on the blog. So I am now taking the time to screech about my favourite authors. I’m talking I plan to read everything they write, they can kill their darlings and I’ll be a sobbing mess but still read what they publish. (yes this is aimed at Julie Kagawa no I am not over a certain trilogy)
