Whilst Holiday season is here, it’s important to remember bookish businesses need our love and support all year round. There’s nothing better than buying from small businesses and knowing that your purchase has probably caused them to do a happy dance. When possible I do my best to support small businesses, however I know this isn’t viable for everyone. Whether you buy something or not, just liking their social media posts, sharing them on your socials and talking about them to people helps immensely!
This post is part of Bookending Winter 2020! Today’s prompt is Supporting Small Businesses from Clo @ Cuppa Clo! (that’d be me!)
Prompt Recap
Shoutout your favourite small businesses for book lovers! Whether its book sleeves, candles, clothes, pins or something else – the sky’s your limit with the amount of love you can share for small businesses. I encourage you to boost ones you’ve already bought from, so you can share photos of your items BUT it’s of course entirely your choice. I will be sharing the love for all small bookish businesses I’ve bought things from, as well as including information with regards to where they ship to 😉
Supporting small businesses has become something, which has grown increasingly more important to me, as I’ve been able to spend money on items. There’s a few things that set my soul alight, one of them happens to be supporting other people’s creative endeavours. If you do this prompt, remember to link back to this post and I will make a section for everyone’s posts. As my goal is for us to hopefully raise and boost various small business owners, globally so that no matter where our readers of our blog are, they can find something to treat themselves, a loved one or a friend this year.
<Incoming Links Soon ~ more businesses you can support! 😉 this will be removed once people link back to this post friends>
Felfira Moon Designs
I discovered Fiona’s shop through Lauren @ Northern Plunder sharing about one of her upcoming pre-orders in her instagram stories. Since then I fell in love with Fiona’s pins and her overall designs, not all the designs are up my alley. However I’m certain you’ll discover something from her shop that you’ll love! I absolutely adore her pins, the ones I have from her are absolutely gorgeous. They’re high quality pins, the packaging is eco friendly and it’s super cute!
If you’re looking for some wonderful bookish themed (or even spooky) pins then I highly recommend checking out her shop. She also does resin pieces, stickers and has a lot of other pins to explore.
Important: At the time of this post going up, the pins in Felfira Moon Designs shop are limited and a lot of the designs will not be getting restocked. The shop will also be closing on Dec 14th so Fiona can take a break, it’ll reopen again in January though. However if you’re after anything, get it now whilst you can! A lot of the pins will not be getting remade.

That’s Lovely Dear
Looking for celestial themed pins? How about bookish and celestial merged? Witchy pins? This shop has you covered, I adore their pins so much. Again high quality pins and I adore their designs. At the time of me writing this post, they’ve recently dropped a new pin
collection which is perfect for book lovers! It’s called Celestial Academia and it’s super cute.
This shop also sells bookmarks, candles and stickers! Although I’ve only bought pins from them, I do love the look of their other products – so if you’re looking for the perfect gift for a bookish friend, or that friend who’s embracing their inner witch. Check out this shop!

Books Breathe Magic
Quality booksleeves! I personally like having quite padded booksleeves, so they’re on the thicker side but it makes me feel reassured that my book is safe. (not a knock at anyone who has thinner/lighter booksleeves, it’s personal preference!) You can also find enamel pins & bookmarks at this shop! I’ve not bought any pins or bookmarks though so I can’t speak for the quality, I will say though that the designs all look super cute.
As far as I know Catherine often collaborates with other artists, who create stunning artwork for the booksleeves, particularly for fandom related booksleeves!
This is just one of my booksleeves from her shop, I have a couple more but this is one of my favourites. The repeating pattern, the celestial inspired theme. As soon as I saw this design I knew I had to pounce on it. The booksleeves are made in limited quantities too, as far as I know the designs don’t get remade, so if you want one…get it now before it’s gone!

Ink and Wonder
At the time of writing this, their shop and social media are currently in hibernation, however I highly encourage you to keep an eye on their shop. I have been following them on instagram since they were relatively new, I never bought anything at first because I wasn’t able to. But their designs are truly stunning and I
always look forward to seeing what they’re going to design next! Their woodmarks bring me so much joy. A friend gifted me some and then later on during one of their sales I bought two pins and a clutch…lemme just tell you the pins do glow in the dark. The clutch is fabulous and I adore it, it’s also vegan leather, which is an added bonus. (I currently use it to hold my make up brushes, I’m sure I’ll repurpose it at some point though, for now it safely stores my makeup brushes).
The woodmarks are high quality, with wonderfully bright designs printed onto them, the wood grains really do bring a different kind of joy. Particularly as no two woodmarks will have the same grain, as well as them using different types of wood – which are all sustainably sourced! I also have two pins from them, they glow in the dark…ahem they really do. I can see them glow at night as well as a clutch, which I am currently using to store my make up brushes in!
Shop Location: Australia
Packaging: Mostly eco friendly
(from what I remember, there may be some plastic packaging used)
Shipping: Worldwide
WonderfallPins
I’d also like to highlight this shop on Etsy, I’ve only bought one pin from them but it was the first pin I ever got. As you can see, the celestial theme meshed with the book really drew me in.
The pin is stunning, high quality again and this store has a couple other things, they’re relatively small compared to most of the others in my list. They don’t have as much inventory but I still want to highlight them. I’m still obsessed with this pin.

There are of course so many more small businesses that I follow, however I wanted to specifically share the ones I’ve bought from. I can’t wait to see all the love for small businesses from people doing this prompt, especially since it’s Holiday seasons but these posts are evergreen. Small businesses need our support all year round, not just during holidays. Today marks my last day as a host for Bookending Winter 2020, next up are Bec and Lauren @ Northern Plunder so if you’re looking for more fun filled prompts – keep your eyes on their blog!
Side note all the enamel pins I own are A grade and have never been worn out anywhere, they’re used as decor at the minute on my shelves.
Is there a particular type of product you can’t help but collect? For me it’s probably pins, if I see ones that I love, I have a hard time resisting. Whilst I never really buy candles cause I don’t burn candles really, also they’d just sit on my bookshelf as decor…although that would look super pretty.
So many pretty pins!!! I really love them, although sometimes find it hard to justify getting them, so I’ll have to keep these businesses in mind for next time!

Ah yes I feel you on that! I tell myself that I only buy things (including pins) if I really love them, like truly love them enough that I’d be sad if they went out of stock. It can be hard though to separate the “am I buying this for the aesthetics or because I love it?” so I get that hehe. I do love all my pins though 🙂
