Monthly Rewind: November

Honestly the quote I put in my bujo sums up my entire mood “It is December and nobody asked if I was ready.” Spoilers I’m not ready, I’m never ready haha but let’s rewind November which was also my birthday month and see what’s been happening.

Books Read

This Mortal Coil by Emily Suvada

Storm of Locusts by Rebecca Roanhorse

Opal by Jennifer L Armentrout

We Rule The Night by Claire Eliza Bartlett

Fireborn by Kerri Arthur

Books Bought

If I do happen to get any review copies/arcs in the month they will be put in this section, I’ll put what it is in brackets though. I don’t see the point of making a new section for gaining arcs/review copies because I don’t get many of them. I’m also super picky over the ones I’ll accept.

This Cruel Design by Emily Suvada (bday present from Kal)

Storm of Locusts by Rebecca Roanhorse (bday present from Kal)

Ninth House by Leigh Bardugo (bday present from Haley)

The Bone Witch by Rin Chupeco (bday present from Meeghan)

With The Fire On High by Elizabeth Acevedo

Internment by Samira Ahmed

Sinner by Maggie Stiefvater (bday present from Meeghan)

The Kiss Quotient by Helen Hoang (bday present from Meeghan)

Thank you for the presents, I appreciate you all and my TBR hates me right now but it’s fine hehe. November was certainly the month of gaining books.

Life Updates

I’m 19.

I could just leave it at that to be honest because it sums up November perfectly. I’m in my last teenage year and whilst in one respect I’m beyond ready to enter my 20’s, in another I don’t wanna say goodbye to being a teen just yet. (I would also like to say a MASSIVE thank you to everyone who wished my happy birthday and those who sent me presents, the presents were totally not needed but thank you I appreciate you <3)

This month I’ve been a hermit, only really raising my head in the Discord servers I’m in. But I’ve also been beavering away on my bullet journals for 2020 as well as getting Bookending Winter things ready. Near the end of November I decided on my theme for my personal 2020 bujo which you’ll find out about later on in December and I also started researching astrology, moon phases etc more.

Work has been…good. Kids are draining but they also make my day worth it with their boundless energy and simple problems, I honestly miss being in Primary school *sobs over nostalgia*
